I had the honor of being published as the cover article in the latest volume of the Indiana Bar magazine, Res Gestae. The article, “Litigating Speedy Trial Rights In Indiana,” examines the difficult balancing act judges must take in ensuring criminal defendants’ speedy trial rights are protected while recognizing the realities of litigation and court dockets.

The article is available at: https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.inbar.org/resource/resmgr/pdfs/pdfs2/April_2025_RG.pdf

The article is also available on LexisNexis, Hein, and Westlaw.

About the Author
Christopher Keleher clerked for the Hon. William J. Bauer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.  This unique opportunity provided Mr. Keleher with an invaluable understanding of the inner workings of an appellate court.  He saw what persuades judges and what does not, and utilizes this knowledge every time he writes an appellate brief. The Keleher Appellate Law Group handles all phases of appellate litigation in federal and state courts across the country. Read more here.
