I had the honor of being published in the latest volume of the Illinois Bar Journal. The article, “Schedule A: Where Convenience & Civil Procedure Clash,” examines the Schedule A area of IP litigation. The Northern District of Illinois has been a hotbed of such cases over the last ten years. However, the Court is becoming increasingly susipicous of such cases, mostly due to civil procedure and due process concerns. My article explores the pros and cons of the Schedule A model and the best way to curtail the infringement plaguing online platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Temu.
